Exclusive behind the scenes footage – Kokane – “California Classic” video shoot

We recently had the pleasure of attending the video shoot for “California Classic”, the debut single from the upcoming album, “King of G-Funk” by the one and only Kokane.

The video was shot in Los Angeles and this exclusive behind-the-scenes footage was captured by our host, Chago Williams.

We chops it up with Kokane, Tray Deee from The Eastsidaz, Kurupt from the Dogg Pound, Big Weasel Loc, Tha Chill from Compton’s Most Wanted and many more West Coast artists.

We also caught up briefly with DJ Silk from Aftermath Records regarding Dr. Dre’s latest album and his grammy nomination.

The official video for “California Classic” drops today (01 / 29 / 2016), with the single itself scheduled for release on iTunes next Friday (02 / 05 / 2016). The album, “King of G-Funk” will be available on March 18th (03 / 18 / 2016).
