As we reported earlier this week, Missy Elliott has just dropped her brand new single, the much anticipated new single by Missy Elliott is finally here.
“WTF (Where They From)”, produced by and featuring Virginia native, Pharrell Williams comes together with a video directed by long-time friend, Dave Meyers. Myers has directed and co-directed some of Missy Elliott’s most memorable videos, from “Get Ur Freak On”, “Work It” and “Pass That Dutch”.
In the video for “WTF (Where They From)”, Elliott can be seen covered in mirrors and has fused streetwear with pop-art to creating something that leaves us wondering what she will do next.
Earlier this year, Elliott created a buzz when she appeared on the Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show with fellow performer, Katy Perry.
Elliott has been keeping the excitement running on her Twitter account where she has been heavily promoting the single in the days leading up to its release.

Despite the track being released, there is still no word on an album, however we are sure there will be one announced very soon.
