Missy Elliott to drop first single in 7 years on November 12th

Missy Elliott created waves when she appeared during Katy Perry’s 2015 Super Bowl halftime show, and again on Janet Jackson and Ciara’s 2015 releases.

Now it looks as though she is back once again, and this time it’s with the news of a new solo single.

Yesterday Missy announced that she would release her new collaborative single, “WTF (Where They From)”, produced by and featuring none other than Virginia native, Pharrell Williams.  The single will be available on November 12th.

This is the first single that Missy Elliot has released since 2008, and will be deemed as a comeback project, however as yet there is no mention of an album on the horizon.

Check back with us later this month for more news on the release of “WTF (Where They From)”.
